Not Even Sisters

Today I was starting a new school with my friend. I’m Korean and she’s Chinese.
The whole day we were asked if we were twins and if we knew Asian. One time when
we were asked and said no, the kid went to his friend and said, “They’re
twins”right in front of us.

No! Not the Soy Sauce!

So my family has this huge bottle of soy sauce in my kitchen. As I was putting
up dishes, I accidentally knocked it over and there were pieces of glass and soy
sauce all over the kitchen floor and now my house reeks. I wasn’t mad I had to
clean it up, I was mad that we didn’t have anymore soy sauce.

Dot Rice, Dot Net, It’s All The Same

Today my aunt called from Vietnam and was attempting to tell us of a website.
She kept saying dot rice in Vietnamese and confusing my entire family. It was
only after ten minutes of pondering what she meant by dot rice that we realized
com is spelled the same way as rice in Vietnamese.
