Putting the Me in Ramen

Today, I was walking with my friend when she stops halfway down the street.  She
turns around and sniffs around and says, “Do you smell that?  It smells
like noodles or Ramen…”  I respond confused, “No?”  She comes
closer to me and smells me and says, “Oh, sorry it’s just you.”

Naturally Tan

Today my health teacher was talking about how unnatural it is for people in Ohio
to be tan in the winter.  She went on and on about how fake they looked and how
obvious it was when someone had a fake tan.  She was staring at me the whole
time.  I’m half Chinese.

Mistaken Age… Off by 15 Years

I was late to class so I decided to take an alternative route through the
Student Union Building and ran past the buses full of elementary school students
parked at the front. As I ran into the building and up the stairs, a lady
yelled at me to “stay with the group.” I’m probably 15 years older
than the kid I was mistaken for just because I’m short.

Win-Win or Lose-Lose

My parents told me they would get me a new laptop if all my term grades were an
A+. I got 5 A+’s and 1 A.
My current laptop is going to be taken away and I’m not getting a new one…

It’s Not You, It’s Not Me, It’s My Mom’s Food…

Everyday my mom cooks food. Yeah, some are good. but it still smells. and
mostly, some are bad…and still smells. So thats why i dont like to have
friends come over alot. because my house always smells like asian food.
