Today, I was over at my best friend’s house (she’s white).
When my mom came to pick me up (at 5pm, because apparently I needed to study for
when school starts). I was playing a video game, so my friend looked at my phone
when it vibrated.

I had a text from mom, saying, “I’m at outside.”

Abbreviasian

Today my friend told me that her gpa had a really heavy accent. I sat there for
a few minutes wondering why her grade point average had an accent until I
realized she meant “grandpa” . MLIAsian

No Offense

I was walking and talking to my Indian friend (I’m Korean) and he had just eaten
something really chocolaty. He asked me if there was any chocolate on his mouth.
I couldn’t see anything so I asked him to turn his face some more… He turned
his face, and I merely said, “You know, I really can’t tell, I mean it
blends in so well!”

Silly Stereotypes!

Today I told my friend I couldnt hang out because I waas grounded. When she
asked why, I told her it was because i got a B on a test (lie). I stayed home
and played Pokemon. Silly Amanda, asians dont get grounded! Just hit.

Putting the Me in Ramen

Today, I was walking with my friend when she stops halfway down the street.  She
turns around and sniffs around and says, “Do you smell that?  It smells
like noodles or Ramen…”  I respond confused, “No?”  She comes
closer to me and smells me and says, “Oh, sorry it’s just you.”
