Naturally Tan

Today my health teacher was talking about how unnatural it is for people in Ohio
to be tan in the winter.  She went on and on about how fake they looked and how
obvious it was when someone had a fake tan.  She was staring at me the whole
time.  I’m half Chinese.

I’m Waiting, Not Waiting Tables

Today I was standing in line at an Asian resturant, waiting for my order. This
middle-aged man came up to me and said, ” Yeah I’d like my order of
chicken-fried rice and egg rolls, soon.”

She Originally Thought it was Set in the American Wild West

Today, I my class went to the library to work on our projects. While walking
through the library, I saw the book “Song of the Buffalo Boy”, which
is set in Vietnam. When I saw it, I said, “Oh! I love this book!” My
friend then picked up the book, read the summary, and said, “There are
buffaloes in China?”; She knew I was Vietnamese.
